Is Christmas Shopping Online Safe? Buying Online Vs The Mall

Christmas is suppose to be the most happiest time of the year, a time to spend with family, a time to reflect on all of the great things that happened through out the year, a time for holidays …. Although it is suppose to be the most happiest time of the year most of us can't help but feel overrun.

There is so much to do to prepare for the holidays that who even knows where to start, there is shopping, cooking, cleaning, accommodating of guests, and of course the kids are off school for two weeks so there is finding daycare and keeping them entertained.

So with all of this running around to do you still have to figure out what to buy your kids for Christmas. If yours are anything like mine, they watch all of the commercials and want everything they see, but where in the world do you buy all the stuff they want.

I learned a couple of years ago that I have two options, I can run around like a chicken with my head cut off or I can turn to the internet. Now I do all of my shopping online it is so much easier.

Shopping store to store

  • Fighting for a parking Spot
  • Limited amount of items on shelf
  • Get sucked into the food court
  • Takes a lot of time
  • Have to get someone to watch the kids

Shopping online

  • Can do it in your PJs
  • More variety
  • More items
  • Can cook supper at home
  • Delivered right to your house
  • Most sites have secure checkout

I use to be very skeptical about shopping online, I was scared that someone would some how steal my credit card information but now I'm an online shopping pro. Shopping online makes life a hundred times easier. There is always a risk of getting your information stolen but no more then there is having your wallet stolen.

I usually check out the product reviews before I buy. There are many websites that get everything ready for you from the top gift ideas of the year to new recipes.

If your reading this and are thinking but I don't have a credit card so I can't shop online even if I wanted to, well you don't need one, I have one but still always use pay pal, your don ' t need a credit card to shop with pay pal and most sites accept it.

Hope this has been helpful, and Happy Holidays.
